The Story Back in the 80s, plucky folk-rockers The Alarm were known as 'the Welsh U2'. Now their ex-guitarist Dave Sharp has returned to the UK after a 15 year American exile to form a new group, The Soul Company.

The vibe Hardly surprising that Sharp's music now has an American Flavour, reminiscent of blue-collar rock heroes such as John Mellencamp: it's gutsy, heartfelt stuff - not exactly original, but what they lack in innovation, the make up for in conviction.
