Dave Sharp & Soul Co want you to let you know about two acts at opposite ends of the Rock & Roll trail.

The Soul Company first came across Malibu Stacey sharing the bill with Soul Co at Beached 2004. Despite the distraction of Soul Co's biggest gig so far immediately following, Malibu Stacey made an impression on the Soul Co.

Their new single 'Invasion' is out on October 11th and is a powerfully exiting brand new raw mix of rock & punk energy - in Soul Co's opinion 'a must listen!'. To order follow the HMV link from www.malibustacey.com

Malibu Stacey play at the In The City festival at Manchester's Dry Bar (Oldham Street) on Sunday 19th September at 10pm.

In the opinion of Dave Sharp (not a bad guitar player himself), Bill Nelson is THE guitar player.... Quote: 'Oh yeah the boy can play, he taught me how to do it'.

Bill Nelson live performances are a rare event, performances with a band even more so. The last time that Bill Nelson toured the UK with a band was in the early 1980's and before that, during the 1970's with his Be Bop Deluxe and Red Noise projects.

2004 marks the 30th anniversary of the release of Be Bop Deluxe's first album, 'Axe Victim'. This has inspired Bill to assemble a seven-piece band and embark upon a tour designed to celebrate the last thirty years of his music, shows will include songs from the Be Bop Deluxe and Red Noise years, material from his wide-ranging solo career, as well as new music and video presentations

Dave Sharp is a fan and is hoping to make as many of these shows as he can himself. Bill Nelson is 'Axe Legend'.
